Share Links

Share links work for a folder in your Cloudflare. A folder on Folder has none yet: its files open only for you.

Who Can Open It

A folder in your own Cloudflare shares a file with one of these:

• Only me: nobody else, no link.
• Anyone with the link: whoever holds the link. The link carries a random id, so it can’t be guessed.
• Anyone with the password: whoever knows the password. The link is the file’s clean name.
• Anyone: everybody.

The link lives on your own account, not on ours.

Expiry

A link doesn’t expire unless you set a date: in a day, in a week, in a month or in a year. Revoke turns a link off at any time.

Where to Share

• In Finder: right-click › Share…, or Copy Link, which makes a private file “anyone with the link”.
• In the app and on the web: the file’s share panel.

Signed in, folder.dev › Shared Links lists every link you made.
