# What's New

Every version of Folder for Mac and what it changed, in the words of its App Store release notes: On This Mac, Finder tags, the share sheet and more.

Each version's notes, as they read on the App Store.

## Mac 1.3

- On This Mac: add a folder that stays where it is. Its junk folders stop syncing to Dropbox and Time Machine, and every Claude Code session in it starts with a copy, so you can see what it changed and put any of it back.
- Copy Link, Share…, History… and Open on the Web in Finder no longer flash an empty window.
- History and Shared Links sort by any column.
- Tags, as in Finder: tag files from the list or the preview pane, find them under Tags in the sidebar, and drag files onto a tag.

## Mac 1.2

- Open on the Web and History… in Finder's menu work again.
- The file window's toolbar has Show in Finder, Open on the Web, Copy Link, Share… and History… for the selected row.
- Settings has Show In: Dock, Menu Bar, or Dock and Menu Bar.
- The share sheet fits all of its rows, and its Folder row is a field you can change for this drop or save as your default.
- A folder on Folder keeps its live connection open, so changes made elsewhere reach this Mac within seconds.

## Mac 1.1

- When your sign-in runs out, Folder now says so and asks you to sign in again. Your files stay on Folder and come back as soon as you do.
- Open in Finder from folder.dev, and Show in Finder from the menu bar, now bring Finder forward with the file selected.
- Sign-ins now last 90 days from the last time your Mac reached Folder.
- Signing out no longer leaves an old error on the welcome screen.

## Mac 1.0

The first version: your folder on Folder, or your Cloudflare R2 buckets, in Finder and on the web, with every change kept and share links.
