## Connect in Claude

1. Customize › Connectors, then + Add › Add custom connector.
2. Name it Folder, paste the address as the URL, Continue, then Add.
3. Sign in with Apple on the Connect Folder page, tick the folders, and Allow. Then in a chat, + › Connectors, and turn Folder on.

In Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http folder https://mcp.folder.dev/mcp`

## Connect in ChatGPT

1. Open chatgpt.com/plugins, then + › Add custom MCP server.
2. Name it Folder, paste the address under Connection, set authentication to OAuth, select I understand and want to continue, and continue.
3. Create as a plugin. Sign in with Apple on the Connect Folder page, tick the folders, and Allow.

## What It Can Do

Read Only: your folders and their files, a file by part of its name, a text file up to 256 KB, every version of a file; a photo or a PDF comes back as its link. Read and Change also saves text as a new file, keeps a file from the chat or the web up to 10 MB, edits a text file, puts back an earlier version, and makes a share link in your Cloudflare after asking you. It never deletes or moves a file. Disconnect it any time in folder.dev › Settings › Connected Apps.
